8:30 Rx’d for Fran and 123lbs for 1 rep HPC, score of 387.
A year ago today at 6am in New Orleans on concrete by the pool, thanks to KK’s gentle suggestion,I did my first Crossfit Wod. I did what I now know as Annie in over 9 minutes, using singles. Although, it took her another 2 months to persuade me to join unlimited, I am so thankful I did. How far I have come in that time, mostly do to her. I owe you KK. :)

    6:26 (RXD)/165 lbs = 221 pts.
Nice improvement. Previous Fran time was 8:05 (rxd).

6:49 with 53lbs (had to scale after yesterdays jerks) and thin blue band; 113lb hang clean, failed twice at 123lbs :(

That’s a score of 276.4 to be exact…yay nooners! Way to go on the PR Lori!

Think I’ll be back during the 4pm class to do some rowing if anyone in the challenge is interested in joining me…aka motivating me to keep pace!

I am happy to say that I did fran unbroken, except for the 15 pull-ups. I am unhappy to say that it took me 9:29. Then I did one hang clean at 185 and almost snapped my wrist because my legs weren’t doing their part.

  • Mallory

7:58 rx’d then 83 lbs hang clean. total score 395

  • Moss

185 for the hpc (in the 5 min limit), 205 after. i’m not counting my time for the bs fran i did. shoulder issues. don’t worry though, i made up for it with a 5000 meter row during the 6er.

    7:58 (35lbs and jump chest pull ups-yes, I’m a newbie) 45lb HPC…score 433.

  • Miranda

    5:03 rx’d-huge PR. 118 for the HC so a score of 185

  • Emma

3:10 Rx’d Fran (about a 20 second improvement), but was really hoping for sub 3:00. No way I could have gone faster though…..everything unbroken, no breaks in between movements, or pauses during movements. Just going to have to start doing butterfly pull-ups and faster thrusters I guess!

But then was very happy with my Hang Clean. I had no idea what weight I had on the bar, but ended up with 163 lbs! Woot….my PR is 168 so was very happy to have that after that B%$#@ Fran.

    Final Score – 27 Rx’d

  • Kristin CFSI

2:55 Rx’d Fran! Then 130lbs 1RM HPC. SUPER happy with my Fran time tonight. Didn’t expect sub 3, but both movements felt good. :) !! Didn’t get as much as my last 1RM HPC, but I’m OK with that after this workout. Final score was 45 Rx’d.

  • Anthony CFSI

5:01 Rx on Fran! Very big PR for me so I’m happy. 155lbs for the HPC. 146 total score. Good job Kristin and Emma!

  • Nikki
